About Ashley Banks

Ashley Banks is a disabled U.S. Army veteran, former Drill Sergeant and Chief Warrant Officer Two, human resources leader, author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and founder of Ashley Banks. She brings 16 years of human resources expertise and 11 years of military leadership, with experience spanning the U.S. Army, Fortune 500 corporate leadership, and federal government service.

During her Army career, Ashley served two tours in South Korea, deployed to Qatar, helped integrate more than 25,000 Soldiers and family members into the Republic of Korea, helped transform approximately 4,300 civilians into soldiers as a Drill Sergeant, and later directed human resources operations supporting more than 2,500 personnel as a Human Resources Warrant Officer. Her civilian career includes serving as a Human Resources Business Partner for a Fortune 500 company and as an Ethics Investigations Support Branch Chief for the Internal Revenue Service, where her work supported ethics compliance for more than 80,000 employees.

Today, Ashley brings together leadership, human resources, personal development, entrepreneurship, and lived experience through the Ashley Banks brand. She is the creator of Become Before™ and The One Move Rule™, two frameworks centered on becoming the person your next chapter requires and taking intentional action toward the life you want.

Ashley is also the author of A Young Black King Can Be Anything, a children's book that helps young black boys see themselves represented across careers, possibilities, and futures without limits.
